4MILL300ATC - AUTOMATED PCB PROTOTYPING

Product detailed description

Professional PCB Milling Machine with Automatic Tool Change

Automate multi-tool PCB machining and keep prototype production directly inside your laboratory.

The 4MILL300ATC is a compact professional PCB milling machine designed for electronics laboratories, universities and R&D teams that need efficient in-house production of PCB prototypes.

Its 12-position Automatic Tool Changer allows the machine to switch between milling, drilling and routing tools during a machining job, reducing operator intervention and simplifying the production of more complex prototypes.

Built for Automated PCB Machining

PCB prototyping typically requires several different tools: isolation milling cutters, drill bits of multiple diameters and contour-routing tools.

The 4MILL300ATC stores up to 12 tools in its automatic tool magazine. During a prepared machining job, the machine can automatically change between the required tools without manual tool replacement between individual operations.

This makes the 4MILL300ATC particularly suitable for prototypes involving multiple hole diameters and machining operations, where repeated manual tool changes would otherwise interrupt the workflow.

12-Position Automatic Tool Changer

Milling, drilling and contour-routing tools can be prepared in the tool magazine before the job begins. The machine then performs the required tool changes automatically according to the prepared machining process.

Integrated Dust Extraction Path

Milling and drilling PCB materials generates fine machining particles that should be removed directly from the working area.

The 4MILL300ATC features an integrated dust extraction path designed to remove machining particles directly from the working area. For operation, it is connected to an external dust extraction unit.

For a fully integrated setup, the machine can be combined with the MIPEC DEU-400 Dust Extraction Unit , developed specifically for MIPEC 4MILL PCB milling machines.

Automatic Extraction with DEU-400

When connected to the MIPEC DEU-400, dust extraction can operate automatically together with the milling spindle. The extraction unit starts when machining begins and switches off when the spindle stops, eliminating the need for separate manual control.

From PCB Data to a Physical Prototype

The 4MILL300ATC performs the physical machining stage of the MIPEC PCB prototyping workflow. Prepared PCB manufacturing data is converted into milling, drilling and routing operations that produce the physical prototype board.

Installation Requirements

In addition to the electrical supply and USB connection, the automatic tool-changing system requires a compressed-air connection.

Required air supply: 0.6 MPa, 50 l/min, 6 mm connection.

Compressed Air Required

Plan the compressed-air connection as part of the installation of the 4MILL300ATC. This is an important difference compared with the manually operated tool-change system of the 4MILL300.
