4MILL600 - LARGE-FORMAT PCB PROTOTYPING
PCB up to 297 × 420 mm · 1 μm resolution · 60,000 RPM · Tool-free Push & Turn tool change
Product detailed description
Prototype larger PCBs, LED panels and lighting boards directly inside your laboratory.
The 4MILL600 is a large-format professional PCB milling machine designed for development laboratories, universities and engineering teams that require more working area than compact bench-top systems can provide.
With support for PCB sizes up to 297 × 420 mm, the 4MILL600 is suitable for large prototype boards, LED panels, lighting applications, double-sided PCBs and other projects where increased machining area is essential.
Built for Large-Format PCB Prototyping
The 4MILL600 combines a substantially larger working area with the same high-speed 60,000 RPM spindle concept used throughout the MIPEC PCB milling range.
Its 385 × 500 mm working area provides the flexibility required for larger PCB prototypes, oversized circuit boards and other engineering projects that exceed standard compact PCB formats.
The large working area also makes the 4MILL600 particularly suitable for oversized LED boards, lighting panels and other applications where long or wide PCB formats need to be machined in a single setup.
The machine can drill holes from 0.2 mm and mill isolation paths from 0.1 mm, supporting standard PCB designs as well as SMD, RF and other development applications.
More Working Area
With a maximum PCB size of 297 × 420 mm, the 4MILL600 is the large-format model in the MIPEC 4MILL range and is intended for applications where the compact 200 × 140 mm format of the 4MILL300 series is not sufficient.
Tool-Free Push & Turn Tool Change
Despite its larger working area, the 4MILL600 keeps tool handling simple. The machine uses the convenient Push & Turn tool-change system for manual replacement of milling and drilling tools.
Tools can be released and secured by hand without wrenches or additional tooling, providing a straightforward workflow for laboratories that prefer manual control without the need for compressed air.
No Compressed Air Required
The manual Push & Turn tool-change system does not require a pneumatic connection, simplifying installation and making the 4MILL600 easy to integrate into laboratory and development environments.
What Can You Produce With the 4MILL600?
Integrated Dust Extraction Path
Milling and drilling PCB materials generates fine machining particles that should be removed directly from the working area.
The 4MILL600 features an integrated dust extraction path designed to remove machining particles directly from the working area. For operation, it is connected to an external dust extraction unit.
For a fully integrated setup, the machine can be combined with the MIPEC DEU-400 Dust Extraction Unit , developed specifically for MIPEC 4MILL PCB milling machines.
Automatic Extraction with DEU-400
When connected to the MIPEC DEU-400, dust extraction can operate automatically together with the milling spindle. The extraction unit starts when machining begins and switches off when the spindle stops, eliminating the need for separate manual control.
From PCB Data to a Physical Prototype
The 4MILL600 performs the physical machining stage of the MIPEC PCB prototyping workflow. Prepared PCB manufacturing data is converted into milling, drilling and routing operations that produce the physical prototype board.
