Mechanical machining of FR4 produces dust, fibres and machining debris. A dedicated extraction system removes these particles from the machining area during PCB production. The MIPEC DEU-400 is designed for use with 4MILL systems and combines HEPA filtration with automatic operation synchronized with the machine spindle.

Why Dust Extraction Matters in PCB Milling
Milling, drilling and contour routing of FR4 mechanically remove material from the PCB laminate. The process generates fine dust, glass fibres, copper particles and larger machining debris.
Extracting this material directly during machining helps keep debris away from the work area and reduces the amount of particulate material remaining inside the milling machine.
Remove machining debris close to the cutting area while the PCB is being milled, drilled or routed.
HEPA filtration provides a dedicated filtration stage for fine particulate material generated during PCB machining.
